i have a crack tooth that was part of my denture by a wire, i then glue just the tooth to the wire, then let it dry, soak it then inserted into my mouth

I'm just out of dental assisting school they say never to do it , it may weakin the materials. but my mom did it a couple of weeks ago to her partial

I did it quite a number of time to my old denture until I have to get a new set due to additional tooth extraction.
