...suggestions/medicine to help him gain weight? ? He is a very active 3 year old.  I just wish he would eat a little more.  he is 39 inches long.  im told not to worry... that he will eat when he is hungry, but it seems that he is never hungry!
Any suggestions or medicine to boost the appetite?

Why medicate a child that is perfectly fine? I also have a tall slender child. He eats when he's hungry. Sometimes it seems like he never eats, sometimes it's like he eats me out of everything!! Just let him be a kid, if his doctors aren't worried and he's healthy, just let him be.

i used to use minadex build up tonic for my daughter. its for when they have been ill to stimulate their appetite again, it has iron and other vits/minerals.

However, dont worry too much! my daughter is 3.5 yrs old and only weighs 22lbs! The drs and such are happy with her "she has a bird like appetite" is what they came up with after a year of tests and finding nothing was wrong with her.

She is healthy, bright and is doing great at school. She has plenty energy and fight :op
