I have an astigmatism, too. Also, have headaches. Never wore glasses before. Is it true that glasses make your eyes worse?

No it isn't true that glasses make your eyes worse. Your brain just gets accustomed to seeing clearer with them on, and prefers it.

Your astigmatism is very mild, that isn't causing you much of a problem. But, your hyperopia , especially the left eye is enough to cause constant straining when you don't have glasses on...

Wear your glasses when you want to see better, and feel the need for them. That is always the best way to judge when you should be wearing them.
