i was at work today i ate a sandwich when i got up to go back to work,i had a pain like something trapped in my ribs its really hurts i can always feel it,it hurts to breathe in aswell,it just suddenly came on i dont why or whats caused it any ideas i may go to doctor tommorow if not gone

I have this sometimes and I think it's when part of the food gets suck half way down the food pipe, I just have to stop and sit up as straight as I can and then the pain goes away. But if yours is still there tomorrow then you must go to the doctor.

Wind can cause pain in strange places after you have eaten. people used to burp after food to clear the problem but now its not considered polite.
