So my aunt is taking us to King's Dominion in FL or somethin this year and I want to know if it'll be safe to get on one.
Instincts are tellin me no....
I, LOVE, roller coasters.
If I can't get on one, then I dun wanna go =/
Roller coasters are my life during the summer.
I'm about 10.5 weeks preg now, but around the time she'll be taking me I'll be proll 20 weeks more or less
I figured as much, haha, I dunn even know why I asked, guess I just had to be sure.
Hate being tired but not being able to fall asleep =/
Yeah...I just thought about the heat factor...I'd rather pass, but I wouldn't mind the exercise from walking long as I have water or somethin.

unless you want to go and just sit and eat corn dogs then you should stay home.  It can do major damage to the baby!  So if you go eat a corn dog for me if not plan on taking your baby next year.

Yeah, you are not allowed to. At least here in Ohio they have actual precautions that they have to follow and prohibit pregnant women from riding roller coasters.  Sorry.

There are signs upon entering rides that state that you should not ride if pregnant.

Well I wouldm't risk it. Plus you being 20 weeks by then and right in the middle of summer your going to be miserable. Im 33 wks preg and I can't atand the heat already and it's just the beginning of summer. Me and my husband wanted to take our 4 yr old to six flags for her b-day but the heat was just too much. I would put that into consideration.

OK 1st off... i am a roller coaster freak too!!! 2nd... the reason why it is not "recommended" to ride roller coasters is due to placental abruption!!! nothing with the baby in particular... just its home (the placenta)... meaning that if the ride jerks and your placenta separates from the uterine wall you would end up losing your baby... i too was at a theme park around 15 weeks and once i found out why i just watched everyone go on... after trying 5 long years to get pregnant it wasn't worth me losing the baby... I'm not saying its ok to go... but there was a woman 26 weeks prego and she was on the coasters at six flags new jersey last year... i dunno if she was ok by the end of the day but she said she was "crampy" after going on one of the coasters that goes 128 mph... bad sign in my eyes...

don't be selfish for your own excitement wait it out!!! i did... and in the end i have a healthy baby boy... i even had to wait after delivery for 6 weeks for all my organs to "fall" back down into place before i could go on a coaster... oh but it was worth it!!! the wait made everything more exciting when i finally was able to do it again...

This is going to sound weird but is completely true! My FH sister  did not know that she was pregnant! Honsetly, she thought she had a stomach bug and ended up giving birth in her bathroom... ya..Anyway to answer your question, we went to Six Flags over Texas and she rode like 5-6 rollercoasters. Had she known she was pregnant she wouldnt have done it...but no one knew and she did. He turned out perfectly fine. He did spasticaly jump in his sleep. But that wore off in about a week. We told her that he was riding the roller coaster again!  I wouldnt suggest that you ride one!

It is better to be safe than sorry. If you're suffering from morning sickness already, you might puke after your roller coaster rides. Furthermore, I don't think your unborn baby would like it.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO..... Not okay........  Do you think it would be ok to get in a car wreck.. thrown around by someone.... come on now... Your instincts are correct... go and enjoy all the different foods... and even the games.... Congratulations and best wishes
